Middle School Teacher Assistant

The American International School in Egypt (AIS Egypt) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Teacher Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive learning environment for middle school students. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, student development, and collaborative learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
- Prepare classroom materials, learning resources, and instructional aids.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, field trips, and other school events as required.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and encourage positive student behaviour.
- Support students with diverse learning needs under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining attendance records, organizing teaching materials, and preparing displays.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.
